Audio Visual
A television and standard
U.S. format VCR will be available in each room. Overhead projectors
and 35 mm slide projectors will be available upon request only. Requests
for audiovisual needs should be submitted with your registration on or
before December 1, 2000.
Registration
A registration form must
be submitted for each participant (including presenters and moderators).
The registration fee for participants is $95 and $75 for non-presenting
participants through 12/1/00. After that date, the fee for participants
will be $110 and $85 for non-presenting participants. To be included
in the conference program, your registration form and payment must be received
by 12/1/00. Refunds will not be issued after publication in the conference
program. The fee includes one copy of the conference program ($2
for additional copies), admission to all sessions, beverage breaks, keynote
presentation, one cash-bar reception and the post-conference celebration.
There will be no lunch options offered on site this year.
Hotels and Shuttle Service
Blocks of rooms have been
reserved at three area hotels. Please make reservations prior to
Jan. 5, 2001. To qualify for special rates and shuttle transportation
from the hotel to the Turnbull Center, you must specify that you are with
the FSU Film and Literature Conference. Shuttle service to
the conference site and back to the hotels will be provided once in the
morning and once at the end of each day. Please note: the hotels
are unable to provide shuttle service throughout the day or on demand.
The established schedule will be posted in the hotel lobby for your convenience.

Parking
A limited number
of free parking spaces are located in lots in the front and back of the
Turnbull Center. A metered visitor’s lot ($.35/hour) is located adjacent
to the Center at the corner of Pensacola and Copeland Streets. Additional
parking is usually available at the Civic Center directly across from the
Turnbull Center at $5 a day.
