About the Conference
  • The theme, On the Edge of Time, invites discussion on both traditional and contemporary concepts of the past, the present, and the future in film, literature, and popular culture. 
  • This year’s conference features Gregory Jay, Professor of English and Literary Studies Graduate Coordinator, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
  • Papers and presentations related to this theme may be in the fields of film, literature or popular culture exclusively, or in relationships among them. Papers are invited in all periods, styles, and genres. Each presentation will be limited to 20 minutes.

information will accompany your acceptance 
letter. Early registration is encouraged. In order to be included in the conference program, your registration fee of $95 must be received by December 1, 1999. The registration fee after this date will be $115.
