Dr. Walter Dick
On April 7, 2001, Dr. Walter Dick presented the keynote address at the University of Georgia at Athens for the conference to honor the retirement of longtime UGA professor, Dr. Kent Gustafson. The topic of the address was "The Future of Instructional Design". From that address, Dr. Dick offers five "should be's" for Instructional Systems students . In his words, "they won't necessarily make for a perfect future, but they should contribute to your enjoyment and success in the field of instructional technology."Dr. Dick will be returning to Florida State Spring semester as a visiting professor. Besides teaching EME5603 Introduction to Instructional Systems Design, he will also be presenting his full keynote address during a Spring Seminar session.
