Yanghee Kim and Erin Brogan
In 1999, Yanghee Kim received "The Best Teachers of the Year" excellence award. Yanghee is a second semester master's student in the IS Program at FSU. When speaking with a supplementary Canadian judge at the reception following the award, the judge commented that he was so impressed with Yanghee's presentation that she convinced him to change his view and reluctance about classroom technology. Fredrika Flakes "After orientation, I felt like I was part of the Department, and [ that ] I had made some new friends." Often when we think of a Departmental orientation, the word "boring" comes to mind. Angela Luster, a new student from Orlando, Florida was no different.
