Special Design Conference in Honor of Dr. Kent L. Gustafson
Saturday, April 7 and ending at noon on Sunday, April 8, 2001
In honor of Dr.Kent L.Gustafson, one of the major contributors to the field of Instructional Design, during the past three decades, the Univeristy of Georgia in Athens will hold a Design Conference. Dr.Gustafson will be retiring from The University of Georgia in 2001, although he plans to continue contributing to the field of instructional technology as a consultant. He has spoken to many of our classes here at Florida State over the years, both in person and via video conference.
The conference will be held at the Georgia Museum of Art, the Georgia Center for Continuing Education, and the College of Education at the University of Georgia. Some transportation will be organized by the Student Advisory Council (SAC) for those who wish to attend.
Additionally, students are encouraged to present papers of interest at the conference. More information can be found at:
