Hello Fellow Noles, The end of the semester is nearing so I decided to use this time to reflect on some of our accomplishments and to prompt you for future SAC events!

Some of you took advantage of several of the workshops we offered this semester. Margie DeBroux organized a resume workshop for those who wanted to enhance their marketing skills. Doretta Gordon organized several web design workshops for those of you who wanted to learn more about html. Through rain, sleet, and snow, Aaron Kim stood in line to ensure that we got our tickets to the FSU vs. Clemson game. Donna Gabrielle, an honorary SAC Board member, organized a field trip to UF and a wonderful ocean excursion to commune with the wild-- both events were a blast! Adam Kelly is still working on ways to increase our funding so that we can offer more events to you; and our other honorary board members (David Sacks and Kamau Ksiwatu) are working hard as well. Finally, we will close out this semester with a delicious holiday dinner and a heart-warming graduate farewell. Both events will be great ways to show our appreciation for those with whom we have developed friendships.

We've had a great Fall semester, but our best is yet to come! We will offer a SAC book club. Many of us have read excellent books in our field and for leisure, which we would like to share with others-- the book club will provide a forum for that. We will also have a panel of students who have survived the internship process discuss the dos and don'ts of job hunting. For those of you who enjoyed this Fall's orientation, come and welcome our new students for the Spring!

Again, we are always looking for your feedback and input. So if you have any ideas and are willing to help, please send your correspondence to SAChat@egroups.com. We plan a variety of other social and academic activities so stay tuned!

Greetings,

Fredrika J. Flakes
