On Friday, April 20 - Sunday, April 22, the Instrucitonal Systems (IS) program will hold an IS Conference and Alumni Reunion Weekend. One of the highlights of the weekend will be a Saturday night dinner and dance in honor of Dr. Walter Dick, who will be retiring after having served as a faculty member in the program for more than 30 years. Other highlights inlcude special presentations by several of our distinguished faculty and alumni and a guest lecture by Dr. Allison Rossett, one of the leading figures in the field of isntructional design and performance technology.
The first Instructional Systems Conference and Alumni Reunion, which was held five years ago, attracted over 75 alumni and was extremely well-received. Many who attended (and many who didn't) have been asking us to organize a similar event, and now we have reponsed to that request.
