Purpose of international student perspective section:
The intention is to provide an international dimension to our IS electronic newsletter, to reflect the "voice" and "noise" of the international community in the IS program.
It acknowledges existing and past representations from many countries that have gained from the IS program.
What will be featured in international section?
We hope to be able to generate interest and participation from international students (present and past) in contributing to topics outlined below or more:
- Profile and perspective of an IS international student in the program.
- Views of prospects and relevance of the IS program upon completion of the course and moving into the working world.
- Alternate views of theories and application of IS ideas as applied in a culturally different environment.
- Application of IS in a culturally different work environment by a past international student or alumni member.
- Country-focused write-up, e.g. any special or particular interest of students from Korea, China, Australia, etc. in participating in the IS program.
Please come forward and contribute your ideas or effort.
If you want to write an article; if you wish to contribute as an input for others to write; if you have contact with any past international student, please contact Jason Lowe. THANK YOU! We look forward to featuring you!
