The Center for Innovations in Technology for Learning is seeking authors to contribute entries to Educational Technology;
An Encyclopedia. This two-volume encyclopedia will cover the foundations,
theories, products, projects, research issues, and leaders significant
to the development of educational technology as a professional and
academic practice. It also will include some comparative treatments of
implementation of educational technology tools and applications.
This is a project of ABC-CLIO, the international publisher of reference
books, serial abstracting indexing services, and interactive media. The
Editorial Advisory Board for this project includes Glen Bull, professor
of Instructional Technology, University of Virginia; Peg Ertmer, Ph.D.,
assistant professor of Curriculum and Instruction, Purdue University,
and Kathy Krendl, Ph.D., professor and Dean of the College of
Communication, Ohio University.

The audience for this encyclopedia is a non-practitioner/non-scholar
one...folks seeking reference information or background info. The
encyclopedia will be distributed to public and secondary (and
post-secondary) school libraries.
This is a wonderful opportunity to establish the relevance of our
profession in the "digital age." Please submit inquires, suggested
