We kicked the semester off right with our annual Fall orientation. For those of us who missed it, we missed a treat! There was free food, free door prizes, and plenty of useful information from campus-wide representatives. If you missed it don't fret-- we have plenty more in store!
Hopefully, you have taken advantage of some of the software workshops Doretta Gordon, our SAC President-elect has organized. I'm actually writing this to you in the HTML workshop that was sponsored by SAC and the ISUnion! Margie Debroux, our SAC Social Chair, organized an excellent Manuscript Writing and Clearance workshop that was very useful for our doctoral students! You may have received information on how to get reimbursed for travel to conferences from Adam Kelly, our SAC treasurer-- and let me not forget our Academic Chair, Aaron Kim and our honorary SAC board member David Sacks! All of these people are working tirelessly behind the scenes to give you some of the best recreational and academic opportunities available!
