dr. howard sullivan Biographical Information![]() Dr. Howard Sullivan is Professor of Learning and Instructional Technology at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. Dr. Sullivan received his Bachelors Degree from Western Oregon College and his Masters and his Doctoral Degree from the University of Oregon. He has served as the Associate Dean for the Graduate College at Arizona State University from 1976 through 1979 and as Senior Scientist for the Southwest Regional Laboratory in Los Alamitos, CA from 1966-71. Dr. Sullivan currently teaches Instructional Development, Educational Evaluation, and Educational Research at Arizona State University. His research interests include learning and motivation in education. Dr. Sullivan has published approximately 120 journal articles and presentations. Many recent publications deal with learner control over computer-delivered instruction or with factors related to learner motivation in instructional settings. Journals which have published several articles each include: Educational Technology Research and Development, Contemporary Educational Psychology, Journal of Educational Research and Journal of Educational Psychology. | ||||||||||
