Biographical Information

Dr. Marc J. Rosenberg

Prior to joining Diamtec Corporation, Marc J. Rosenberg was at ATT, where he developed the company 's education and training strategy, and directed major corporate initiatives in learning technology, performance management and ET reengineering.

Dr. Rosenberg's 21 years of experience in the field covers all aspects of organizational learning. Marc has a national reputation as a leading advocate and expert on using integrated performance improvement systems to enhance individual and organizational effectiveness. He has unique experience in working with senior leaders to move learning initiatives forward within the context of the company's business imperatives, and in redefining the roles and functions of E&T organizations to meet new challenges. Marc holds a Ph.D. in instructional design, plus degrees in communications and marketing.

Dr. Rosenberg is past president of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), and is a founding member of the editorial board of the Society's research journal, Performance Improvement Quarterly. A highly requested presenter, he has spoken at the White House and at over 100 professional and business meetings. Marc has authored over 30 articles in the field, and is frequently quoted in major trade publications, including Forbes ASAP, Management Review, Training Directors' Forum, Training, Training and Development, Lifelong Learning Market Report, Service News and The Learning Enterprise, where he was featured as a "leading light" in 1995.

Marc is coeditor of Performance Technology: Success Stories (ISPI, 1992), and a contributor to ISPI's Handbook of Human Performance Technology (Jossey-Bass, 1992). He is a contributing author to two publications of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD): Training and Development Handbook, 4th edition (McGraw-Hill, 1996), and the ASTD Models for Human Performance Improvement (ASTD, 1996). He is the recipient of numerous awards for his professional service and contributions in the areas of training, performance management and his pioneering work in electronic performance support.
