dr. kent gustafson Biographical Information![]() Dr. Kent L. Gustafson is the Professor and Chair of the Department of Instructional Technology at the University of Georgia. His teaching interests include pre-service media and technology education, instructional design and development, program and project management, diffusion of educational innovations. Dr. Gustafson's research areas are EPSS, management of the ID process, evaluation of education and training programs, and professional education. Dr. Gustafson graduated from Worcester State College and for five years was a high school math teacher and part-time media director for a regional school district. After receiving a Masters degree at The University of Massachusetts, he completed the Ph.D. at Michigan State University and then became a faculty member in Instructional Development and Technology. In 1981 Dr. Gustafson moved to The University of Georgia. Dr. Gustafson will be retiring from the University of Georgia this year and will be honored during a conference schedule for April 7-8, 2001. | ||||||||||
