HYDRILLA

Hydrilla verticillata (L.F.) Royle

Largemouth bass like to hide under hydrilla so fishermen appreciate this water weed.

But when hydrilla grows in thick patches and fills the lake or river, fishing becomes impossible and boating becomes very difficult.

It isn't very pleasant to swim or waterski in a lake or river infested with hydrilla.
