Conference participants will benefit from the discounted room rate of $99 per night (+ tax): mention the 2004 French Studies Conference when making your reservation. This rate is available to conference participants from the night of Monday, March 29 thru to the night of Monday, April 5 inclusive. To benefit from the discounted rate, you must make your reservation not later than March 10. As space is limited, you are strongly advised to make your reservations before then.

Reservations may be cancelled up to 4.00 p.m. two days prior to arrival date without penalty. For later cancellations you will be charged two nights room and tax.

If you require auxiliary aids under the terms of the Americans With Disabilities Act, please notify the Doubletree Hotel by not later than March 3.

Hotel facilities include a fitness center, swimming pool and shuttle service to Tallahassee Regional Airport (journey time approximately 15 minutes).

Reservations may be made by using a credit card via the internet as follows:

1. Go to www.doubletree.com
2. Type "Tallahassee" under city requested, enter your arrival and departure dates and click on "Find it".
3. Next page will display "Not available". On this page, click on "Doubletree Hotel, Tallahassee".
4. On next page (headed "Welcome to the Doubletree Hotel Tallahassee"), click on "Book a Room".
5. On next page, enter your arrival and departure dates and other details, then scroll down the page to "Special Accounts" and type "FRE" in the "Group/Convention" field. Click on "Next".
6. The discounted room rate of $99 per night should now appear. Complete the reservation using your credit card.
