History Department Computer ServicesRequest Technology Cart or Computer Support The History Department has several resources available to assist students in their professional development as researchers and teachers. The History department's computer lab is located in Room 462 of the Bellamy Building. The computer lab provides students with high-speed T-1 Internet access and software applications. The computer lab is available only to History graduate students who have submitted the required application and who have signed the terms of usage agreement contained in the lab policies manual. Students who use the computer lab will need to acquire a unique username and password from one of the computer lab staff. Use of these computer resources is a privilege, not a right, and abuses of the lab’s rules are subject to suspension or revocation of lab privileges. *If you have any questions about the
lab please call 645-1432. The department owns one technology cart that can be checked out by instructors for use in the conference room and small seminar room only. The cart cannot be checked out for use outside of the history department, 4th floor Bellamy Building. The technology cart contains a laptop computer, LCD projector, DVD/VCR player and speakers. The laptop computer contains Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet Explorer for Internet access. Please note that the cart must be reserved a minimum of 72 hours in advance (not including weekend or holidays) of the intended use date. How to Register for Email and Download Free Software
