It is time for Vacation! School is almost over and graduation is at the door! So why are you waiting? It does not matter whether you are a graduate or undergraduate student, professor, businessman, bartender, or engineer. YOU NEED A VACATION! Remember, there is a brand new world out there. Hopefully this April issue of GLOBAL TALK will inspire you to pack and travel overseas leaving behind your daily life and routine. In each section you will find an overview and guide to discover nine different foreign languages and cultures. We proudly raised the count to nine sections. Hebrew is the latest section to join GLOBAL TALK. Again remember that all these languages and cultures are taught here at our department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at FSU! We recently had our Honors Night and many graduate and undergraduate students were awarded with prestigious awards. Beside awards from language divisions, some FSU students received Winthrop-King scholarships for summer study abroad. GLOBAL TALK would like to extend congratulations to all the recipients of award in this month of April.
