Further, the College has a total of three eminent scholar chairs and three professorships which are listed by category in order of establishment:

Mack and Effie Campbell Tyner Eminent Scholar Chair
Bert Family Eminent Scholar Chair
Lincoln Chiropractic College Eminent Scholar Chair in Biomechanics

Margaret Sitton Professorship

Hazel K. Stiebeling Professorship

Margaret R. Sandels Professorship

In the past year, the faculty and students in the College have worked diligently to reshape the mission, vision and goals in light of recent changes at the university, in Florida and in society in general. The Carnegie Research/Doctoral I status, the approved College of Medicine and other possible health-related programs, the establishment of a Health and Human Performance Laboratory, and the possible university-wide Child Development Center are all developments at FSU in which the College is playing a major role. As we move forward in these exciting times, we are proud of our past accomplishments and confident that we will be an even more prominent program at FSU, nationally and internationally.
