 Thanks for story
Thank you for writing the excellent article about the Commission On Responsible Fatherhood in your November 1996 edition, anmments from our DADS support group. I have received two inquiries, one coming from Jeff York in San Antonio, Texas including comments from our DADS support group. I have received two inquiries, one coming from Jeff York in San Antonio, Texas. We have written to each other and have become quick pen pals. He sent me a copy of your article for my files.
We have recently been invited to join with the National Congress of Fathers and Children. The Florida state chapter, based in Tallahassee, is headed by Robert A. McNeely who is a commissioner with CORF.

Thanks again for the great article about CORF.

Sincerely,

Robert A. Zeller

A reflective fan
This is a call to all true Seminole Fans: Let's support our team, I mean really support them, NO MATTER WHAT.
After that dis at the Sugar Bowl - I did some reflecting on myself as a fan, (and I believe this could extend to everybody elsappointing loss at the Sugar Bowl - I did some reflecting on myself as a fan, (and I believe this could extend to everybody else).
Let's face it - we've been spoiled.
I know that I'm an FSU fan even if our team should ever go 0-11. But I also know that I've had incredibly high expectations at the beginning of every season. How could I not? The success we've had over the past 10 years has been unbelievable!
When our teams seem to waltz through the ACC, have an 80 percent success rate against Florida, and are now beating Miami, finish in the Top 4, etc., etc., how can you help but be spoiled? We make it look so easy.
But it's not that easy. And it's wrong to expect that success every season. We can hope for it, but we should not demand it. It's about making our expectations more flexible.
I think we all need to have a brand new attitude and outlook towards our team. I mean, why do we love the Seminoles? It's not because they win all the time. It goes much deeper than that.
We just need to throw our unconditional support behind a team that represents a university, a coach, a town (in Tallahassee) and a tradition; all of which we love very much.

Julie Sipes
Proud Seminole Fan
