What makes her great:
She instills in her students a permanent interest in the subject.

"I really felt and understood the class. She inspired me to go on and learn more things about the class without being in the class.

"She was easy to talk to and showed she cared.
"Until this day I can go to her with a paper and she'd look over it for me.

"She immersed us in African-American literature and I felt like I was getting educated instead of being trained.

"If I could go back and do it all over again I would like to teach some type of African- American history class."
