Student:Raymond Cutro, senior, 25, of St. Petersburg, majoring in biochemistry and pre-medTeacher:Nancy Greenbaum, assistant professor, chemistrySubject:Biochemistry IWhat makes her a favorite:She teaches that there's always more to learn. She has integrity and is helpful with difficult subject matter. "She expects you to know the material and then be able to apply it. She's very helpful beyond class. "She's helping me with my medical school applications. She has a no-bull.... attitude. She expects you to come to class and be up to speed. "The students who try and do well and work hard seem to enjoy the class, and to me that's the sign of a good teacher. She makes us feel good when we learn something but at the same time keeps us down to earth by asking more questions. "I feel like she wants us to have an insatiable quest for knowledge."
