Florida Learn & Serve is a federally funded grant program that awards grants to schools and school districts to engage youth in service-learning. Awards are issued by the Florida Department of Education.
Register Now for the 3rd Annual Raise Your Voice For Service-Learning Conference: Conference events will be held at the Tallahassee downtown DoubleTree Hotel and at the Florida Capitol on March 22 - 23, 2009 and will include workshops, training, recognition of the 2010 class of Florida Service-Learning Leader Schools, student displays in the Capitol, student visits with legislators, and a rally and press conference. Amendment Funds Available for Spring-Summer, 2010: These funds will be awarded as amendments to current awardees in good standing: Pilot, Renewal, and Non-competitive (district) projects are eligible. Funds can be used to support various S-L activities including travel to the "Raise Your Voices for S-L" Conference. Activities under the program must be completed by July 31, 2010. To apply, fill out and submit a concept paper using the instructions and format posted at this page (Click here). Concept papers are due on February 3, 2010.
