If you are a Teacher Education major or a student interested in teaching as a career, the FSU chapter
of Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA) may be what you are looking for.
This service-oriented organization provides its members with the following opportunities:
- professional contacts
- leadership
- career information
- recognition for services rendered
- professional development
- community involvement
- association with other future educators
- resources
- experience
After joining FFEA, you will start attending our meetings, where you will receive updates on our
activities, together with information on volunteer opportunities, committees reports, as well as
general announcements that any of the members may make. You will also receive this information
via e-mail.
Members receive points for volunteer community service (education- or non-education related),
for participation in committees, and for any other activities that the group decides to organize.
A Point Scale is available for members to check on the points they have earned with us.
At the end of each semester, recognitions are awarded to those who got the most points; according
to the amount of points, members are eligible to be awarded FFEA certificates of recognition, a letter of
recommendation from our Faculty sponsor, or a letter of recommendation from the Dean of the
College of Education.
To join us, print this enrollment form, fill it out, and bring it
to one of our meetings; you can also contact one of the officers if you need any further information of if you have any questions.
We hope to see you around!
