- EDA 4060. Organization and Control of Education (3). Relationships among local
school districts, intermediate units, state departments of education, and the
federal government.
- EDF 1005. Introduction to Education (3). This course offers students a broad
view of education from historical, cultural, psychological, political, social
and philosophical perspectives. Includes lectures, discussions, and field
experience.
- EDF 2082. Schooling and Development in Third World Societies (3). This course
provides a basic overview of schooling and development in Asia, Africa and Latin
America. While journeying through different countries, school systems, and
cultures, this course also focuses on the Third World inside the United States.
- EDF 4604. Schooling in American Society (3). The study of the organization,
policies, and practice of American public education and its mutual interactions
with other aspects of society.
