Dr. Jon Dalton

Associate Professor

Jon Dalton is Associate Professor in Educational Leadership and Director of the Hardee Center for Leadership and Ethics. He has been at Florida State University for l5 years and served as Vice President for Student Affairs from l989-l999. He directs the annual Institute on College Student Values each February that focuses on moral and civic education in college student learning and development. He serves as Editor of the electronic Journal of College and Character published on the Internet at www.CollegeValues.org. He is a Past President of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) . His research interests are in college student development, moral and civic education, organization and management of student affairs services, ethics in higher education leadership, and international educational exchange.
