Dr. Perry Crowell

 

Dr. Perry Crowell is currently the Assistant Vice President for Administrative Services at the Florida State University (FSU). In this position he oversees the University’s Business Administrators Program, the finance and accounting functions for the Athletic Department, the Seminole Boosters, and the College of Medicine, as well as the fiscal and plant operations at the FSU Panama City Campus and the Ringling Museum, located in Sarasota, Florida.

Prior to coming to FSU in 1990, Perry had an extensive career in financial operations for the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services. During this time, Perry received a Certificate in Supervisory Management and became a Certified Public Manager.

Perry earned his Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from FSU. He has published articles on student financial aid, technology, email addiction, and college student debt. Perry has conducted seminars at the national level on various financial management topics. Most recently, he presented on the topic “Mentoring Promising Staff.” Prior to his Ed.D., Perry earned a M.B.A. from FSU and a B.A. in Economics from the University of West Florida.
