Upon returning from Peace Corps service overseas, students will need to have made a decision regarding the type of degree program they wish to complete. All remaining coursework will serve to complete the degree requirements of the program selected, whether in Sociocultural and International Development Education Studies, or in a Middle and Secondary Education content area. All elective requirements will have already been satisfied by coursework taken in the first year of masters coursework, meaning any courses taken after Peace Corps service that are unrelated to the chosen degree will prolong the course of study beyond the requirements of the degree.
