GRE Requirements

If you are seeking admission into any of our programs, you must submit the new GRE test containing the following subtest scores: Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical Writing.

We are accepting the general GRE test, including the verbal and quantitative sections, if it was on file with the FSU's Admissions office by January 1, 2003. Otherwise, you must submit the new GRE test. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

As with any test, we highly recommend that you prepare for the GRE by purchasing a study guide and visiting the GRE website. The website, http://www.gre.org, offers a free GRE trial run and a Powerprep software. The software is free of charge and can be downloaded at http://www.gre.org/pprepdwnld.html. There are two Powerprep versions available. One is for the general GRE test, and the other is for the new test. Additionally, you may obtain information about the Analytical Writing section at ftp://ftp.ets.org/pub/gre/awintro.pdf.
