University Fellowships
Awards are made annually to a limited number of students in any discipline for $10,000 per year plus out-of-state and matriculation fee waivers. Application forms may be obtained from the Program Assistant. Applications are judged by a University-wide committee and are highly competitive.
University Dissertation Fellowships
A limited number of dissertation fellowships are available to support Doctoral students in their last year of study. Awards are made annually for $10,000 and are for one year only. Nominations are made by the Department.
Delores Auzenne Fellowship

This award to African American students is in addition to any other financial award received and includes a stipend of about $2,500 per semester, for up to two semesters. Deadline is February 15th. For information contact:

McKnight Black Doctoral Fellowship Program
These awards include $11,000 per year, plus tuition and fees, and are renewable for a total of four years. These awards are external to the University and do not require any service. The application deadline is January 15th. For information and application materials, contact:

College Fellowships
There is a limited number of fellowships allocated to each College for the purpose of recruiting first-time graduate students. Duties may or may not be required. An academic nine-month stipend is $6,300.
