Program EvaluationProgram Evaluation form (word) Program InformationThe Master's degree in Program Evaluation is a graduate program designed to prepare students for a broad array of career opportunities related to the process and use of program evaluation in a wide variety of contexts (education, government, foundation or corporate venues). Students acquire knowledge in evaluation theory, data collection methods and analysis, and in the reporting of program evaluation results. With the emphasis on program accountability in public and private sectors of our economy, students graduating with master’s degree in program evaluation are highly valued in today’s job market. Admission RequirementsStudents must meet the minimum requirements for admission to Florida State University at the graduate level. Students should have had some prior experience in a professional role related to program evaluation or have career goals, personal interests, education and professional experiences consistent with the philosophy, structure, and content of the program. Basic Degree RequirementsThis program requires 1) a minimum of 32 credit hours of course work and 2) successful completion of a Master’s Comprehensive Portfolio. Students must complete 26 credit hours in core courses. Students choose elective courses in a substantive area of interest in consultation with their academic advisor. **Fellowships and financial aid programs are available** 1. B. Print-based Portfolio of Student Products: Students collect 8-10 research paper and evaluation projects produced during the Master’s degree program. These products would demonstrate the acquired competencies.
