    Course Lists (including text book titles)

    Course offerings for Fall, Spring or Summer semester is availabe here.

    Note that text book titles are indicated for each course. Students are encouraged to order texts early from his or her preferred source. We recommend the FSU Book Store, however other sources are available, but not as reliable. Sometimes editions change or a text is replaced, and the information updated as quickly as possible. Consider verifying with the instructor titles for his or her texts ( Dr. Easton, Dr. Sample, and Dr. Conrad).

    Register for Next Semester

    The Spring semester begins January 9 and ends April 21, 2007. The academic calendar for each semester avaliable here.

    Online Registration. Click here for general information regarding online registration. Click here to register for your courses.

    Financial Aid. Financial Aid is very limited; however students who take at least 6 hours per semester are eligible for a federally guaranteed loan. Students must be in a certificate program or be fully admitted as a condition of acceptance. Contact Dr. Peter Easton e-mail peaston@fsu.edu for additional information.

    Online Orientation. All new special, fully admitted, and HRD Certificate students should access and complete the Online Orientation program prior to the first day of class.

    You will receive information on how to:

    • Request an FSU Card.
    • Generate an FSU computer account.
    • Complete and submit the Computer Account Verification Form. Then, wait to receive an e-mail response before proceeding to Step 4.
    • Log in to FSU's online course management system (Blackboard) to complete your orientation.

    Ordering Your Books

    Students in residence at FSU may purchase their text books from a number of sources, we recommend the FSU Book Store. The FSU Book Store also take orders for online courses.

    Access Blackboard Now

    You can access your Blackboard (Bb) course sites here. Be sure to save as a bookmark if you wish faster access from your Internet browser.

    Do not forget the valuable resources available from the Office for Distributed and Distance Learning at onlinelearning@fsu.edu. The students link provides access to:

    • Find out the tech requirements for taking web-supported and online courses.
    • Become familiar with course navigation tools.
    • Get technical assistance from the best source when problems arise.
    • Obtain software for your web-supported and online courses.

    Access FSU Library Resources Now

    Students may access the extensive library resources at Florida State University in three ways.

    1. Access Library Resources from this web page www.lib.fsu.edu/.
    2. Access is also provided from within Blackboard. Look for the tool bar at the top to the Blackboard page (gray tabs with red lettering) and click on Library Resources.
    3. The FSU home page provides a link directly to library resources (right hand list of links).

    Note that distance learning students will have to provide his or her EZ Proxy Username and Password in order to access Library Resources.
