May 7-10, 2006 – American Society for Training and Development International Conference & Exposition (Dallas Texas). Drs. Sample and Easton will be promoting the FSU online HRD program at a booth in the ASTD exposition arena. Doctoral Research - HRD Competencies in South Korea

Yong hak Lee, a candidate for the PhD degree in adult education, is conducting research using the most recent ASTD HRD competencies. His study focuses on helping HRD practitioners and HRD faculty in South Korea come to consensus on what constitutes competent HRD performance in that country. He is using both qualitative and quantative methods for this important study.
