Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Incorporated is a historically Latina sorority.  We were founded on April 9, 1990 at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa.  We actively uphold our five principles of:  Academics, Community Service, Cultural Awareness, Morals and Ethics and Social Interaction.  We adopted chapter status on Florida State University's campus on July 24, 1998.  We, the Iota Alpha Chapter, strive to promote multiculturalism and diversity amongst our members, campus and the community.  Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Incorporated is the largest and fastest growing sorority in the nation.  We currently have 58 chapters, 8 colonies, and 7 alumni associations.
