The FSU Department of Urban & Regional Planning Ranked as the 13th Best Planning Program in the Nation by Planetizen
Planetizen, one of the
leading Planning-related Internet websites, has ranked FSU's Department
of Urban & Regional Planning master's program as the nation's 13th best
overall (out of a total of 75 schools). When compared with only programs in public universities, DURP ranked 8th
overall. These rankings were based upon a combination of
statistical indicators and reputational surveys completed by practitioners and academics.
The 2007 Guide to Graduate Urban Planning Programs features a list of the
top graduate urban planning programs, as well as rankings of the best schools
in each region and 12 specialty areas. The Guide also contains a directory
of 94 graduate planning programs in the U.S. and Canada.
