Department, Dr. Charles Connerly wins 2006 Capital Area Planning Award
The Capital Area section of the Florida Chapter
of the American Planning Association announced its Capital Area Award
Winners for 2006 on September 22, 2006. The Department of Urban and
Regional Planning was awarded the Community
Based Planning Award for its development of the Friends of North Port St. Joe Strategic Plan.
Professor Charles Connerly was the lead investigator for the plan which
was based on information gathered through meetings with residents of
the North Port St. Joe neighborhood.
