University Sources of Financial Aid
The University Office of Financial Aid administers various need-based programs to assist graduate students. As long as the student is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and is admitted to graduate study at Florida State , decisions about these aid programs are based entirely on the financial resources and needs of the student. These programs generally consist of federally-guaranteed student loans and work-study. Applicants for these programs must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and the Florida State University Financial Aid Application. The Office of Financial Aid suggests that application be made in January but will accept applications for Fall term financial aid until July 1 and for Spring term financial aid until October 1. These forms and further information may be obtained from the Office of Financial Aid , Florida State University , Tallahassee , Florida 32306-2430 . Phone 850-644-0539. E-mail: ofacs@admin.fsu.edu .
