| Shawn Youngblood (BA, University of Alabama in Huntsville, May 2005, History/Philosophy, with a concentration in Classical Studies) began the MA program in Classics in Fall 2005. His interest lies in the relationship between religion and politics throughout the Classical period. The primary tool for this examination, he believes, is an understanding of ancient culture by way of the Greek and Latin languages. His aspirations include earning his PhD and becoming a professor, and ultimately contributing to a modern understanding of moral justification. |
