| Charlie Harper (B.A. Classics, SUNY Buffalo) began pursuing his Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology in Fall 2006. His archaeological interests are varied and embrace topics from the Late Bronze Age to the Terminal Roman Republic. In addition, he is particularly fond of reading Latin Elegy. Recently he has become fascinated by novel uses of technology in archaeology and how modern scientific change affects our understanding of the past. He hopes over the next year to advance his Greek reading knowledge while honing his archaeological interests. He is also hopeful that he will spend his upcoming summer on a dig abroad.
Charlie was the 2006-2007 Student Archaeology Club Secretary.
