| Reema Habib (BA in Biology and Classical & Near Eastern Archaeology, Bryn Mawr; MA in Forensic Science,
George Washington; MA in Classical Archaeology, Bryn Mawr) is interested in exploring issues of identity within Hellenistic burials in the doctoral program at FSU. She is particularly interested in the forensic and mortuary analyses of sites, as well as in more art-historical aspects of portraiture as they relate to issues of identity. She has presented a paper entitled "Funerary Portraiture" at the bi-annual Bryn Mawr College Graduate Student Symposium in 2003. She excavated in the Aleutian Islands and Ukraine, and hopes to dig in Hellenistic sites in the near future. |
