The program in Classics (Greek and
Latin) enables a student to concentrate his or her
course-work on both languages. It is recommended to
students who enter with strong language skills. The
program will prepare students for further graduate work in
classical studies or for a career in teaching in the
schools. This program may be taken under the course option
or the thesis option. The Department recommends the course
option.
