The Rankin Fellowships |
For Travel to Italy |
| |
|
| |
The Department of Classics is pleased to announce the creation of the Rankin Fellowships for Travel to Italy, under generous donations made by the family and friends of Dr. Kathleeen Rankin, who taught in the Department of Classics at Florida State University from 1968 until her death in 1977. Dr. Rankin loved the FSU Study Abroad Program in Florence, and this fellowship encourages students to travel to Italy. It carries the stipulation that the funds are to be used by a student who is participating in archaeological research sponsored by the Department of Classics. The travel stipends range from $500 to $750. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2008. |
