ATTENTION PARENTS

The Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement is pleased to provide a special PARENT WELCOME on Move-In day, June 20st, 2009. Leave the heavy lifting to your sons, daughters, and our volunteers and join us to receive information concerning their experience and success here at Florida State University. Some of the topics to be addressed include:

Financial Aid
Health Insurance
Campus Safety
Meal Plans
Life on Campus
What to expect now that they are away from home…

Also, we are happy to answer any questions you may have concerning the program and their participation. There will be two sessions:

June 20th, 2009
HCB 103
10:00am and 1:00pm

* On Move-In Day there will be signs directing you to the PARENT WELCOME location. Also, you may ask at the registration tables for directions. We ask that all parents attend one of these sessions.

* Please note also that for safety reasons and to expedite the check-in process, parents are asked to allow students to complete the check-in process unaccompanied.

* Students should bring valid government issued identification (Florida ID) and other missing documents (Health Immunization form, Proof of Insurance, residency form, etc) with them at the time of check-in.
