The Big Bend Contemporary gallery (BBC) was developed to serve the Department of Art as an educational tool and public outreach venue. Exhibitions serve to showcase the artwork of Master of Fine Arts students studying in the Department of Art. As a student-run facility, the BBC gallery space provides practical experience in exhibition development, preparation, installation and presentation. A new exhibition by MFA students opens every month on "First Fridays" at Railroad Square.
