| Students are awarded Army ROTC scholarships through a competitive selection process. ROTC scholarships at FSU reimburse either tuition and educational fees or room & board costs, a book allowance each semester, and a monthly tax-free cash allowance (stipend).
Scholarship recipients, in addition to their academic studies, take military science (ROTC) courses, participate in leadership laboratories, physical training, and attend the 32-day Leadership Development Assessment Course at Fort Lewis, WA (normally, the summer between the MS-III and MS-IV years).
Upon successful completion of all Army ROTC and baccalaureate degree requirements, they will be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in either the Active Army, Army Reserve, or National Guard. |
