| PERSHING RIFLES Pershing Rifles is a collegiate fraternal organization open to military and civilian men and women. We trace our origins to the Varsity Rifles of the University of Nebraska, founded by General (then 2nd Lieutenant) John J. Pershing in 1893. By 1894, they changed their name to Pershing Rifles in honor of their founder. We are first and foremost a rifle drill team. Aside from that, we are a social organization which also stresses various ideals of honor and military decorum. |
