AIR ASSAULT COURSE The purpose of the Air Assault Course is to train soldiers in Combat Air Assault Operations, Slingload Operations, and Rappelling. The course familiarizes soldiers with the capabilities of Army aircraft, aircraft safety procedures, Pathfinder Operations and Aero-medical Evacuation. At the end of the course, each soldier will be able to demonstrate the skills required to make maximum use of helicopter in combat to support their unit operations. Air Assault School |
