Twenty-Ninth Annual Symposium for Graduate Students in the History of Art: November 4 - 5, 2011
Many thanks to all who participated in our 29th Annual Graduate Student Symposium on November 4-5, 2011. Papers from this year's Symposium will be submitted for publication in the next edition of Athanor, our internationally distributed periodical.
Each year the faculty evaluates the papers presented at the Symposium on the basis of originality and presentation, and awards one participant the Günther Stamm prize in memory of a former professor of art history at Florida State. This year's winner is Saskia Beranek for her paper "Building a Secular Sepulcher: Horace Walpole and the Gothic Revival."
