Admission to the Doctoral Degree Program
The doctoral admissions requirement and procedures are subject to all regulations specified for graduate studies in the University's Graduate Bulletin for the academic year in which the doctoral student first matriculates.
Specifically, admission requirements include taking the Graduate Record Examinations and achieving a score of 1000 or more, a 3.5 GPA on 4.0 scale on a master's degree from an accredited institution. The baccalaureate degree must be from a nationally accredited college or university in art, art education or related fields. Deficiencies may be made up. The applicant must be in good standing in the institution of higher education last attended.
