All FSU Students are welcome to join the LGBTSU and use the resouces it has to offer. The are no membership fees or dues and you do not have to be a member of the LGBT community to join. Here are a couple of LGBT resources on campus.

LGBT Library: Over the past thirty years or so, the LGBTSU has built an eclectic library of books and movies pertaining to the LGBT population. Ranging from fictional love stories to real life testimonies and biographies, the library is a great resource open to all FSU students. This is a great resource for projects and papers as well as entertainment.

SafeZone

SafeZone is a program designed to identify people or organizations that consider themselves to be open to and knowledgeable about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues. Members display the SafeZone symbol to demostrate their acceptance of LGBT individuals. The SafeZone coordinator for our area is Gail Palo. Her office is in the Student Counseling Center on the second floor of the Student Life Building.
