EDGE CORPS
Alyssa Martens Alyssa, originally from Ames, Iowa, graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Apparel Design. God's work in her life brought her to be involved in Edge Corps at FSU. In college, God gave her a greater heart for people and a desire to labor among them for a lifetime (Matthew 9:36-38). Impacted by the Edge Corps team that came to her university, she knew God could use her in a similar way to impact others if she was obedient to Him. She also saw Edge Corps as a great foundation for whatever the Lord has planned next for her life and a great opportunity to be trained in laboring and making disciples for a lifetime. You can contact Alyssa by email at alyssa.martens@gmail.com.

Luke Skeen This will be Luke's second year on staff with the Navigators at FSU. He graduated December 2005 from Tennessee Tech University where he studied Math Education. He loves anything with sports, music and the outdoors and loves to help people. He tought at a Middle School in TN before deciding to go on staff. Luke wants to minister to college students because that was the most spiritually influential time in his life. You can contact Luke through email at luke.skeen@gmail.com.

Kyle Kozloski This fall has begun Kyle's eighth year here in Tallahassee. He spent his undergrad years at FSU and two years working for the University before he came on staff. He enjoys being around students and wants to impact their lives so that they will be life long laborers for God's kingdom. To contact Kyle please email him at kkozloski@gmail.com.

Nicki Nedelisky Nicki graduated from FSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Piano) in 2004. This is her seventh year in Tallahassee, and her second year serving on staff with the Navigators. Joshua Davis Joshua "JD" Davis graduated from FSU in 2003 with a degree in Creative Writing. He has since dedicated this portion of his life to paying off his student loans and fighting crime. He has had little luck with either, though he says he'll be a "free man" this spring (whatever that means). JD is the FSU Navigator Bible Study co-coordinator (FSUNBSCC) and sleeps in a tent behind his house. He thinks the movie "West Side Story" was loosely based on his own teenage exploits, despite claims that it was actually an adaptation of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" - not to mention the fact that it came out nearly two decades before he was born. You can reach JD by email at Jdhershey1@aol.com.

Carrie Cirafesi Carrie completed her undergraduate studies at the Florida State University in May 2004, studying Political Science and International Affairs. This Fall 2007 will be her eighth year living in Tallahassee. She has served with the Navigators as an alumnae since Fall 2004 and joined the Navigator Staff team at FSU as associate staff in Fall 2006. Please feel free to contact Carrie at carriejoy8@gmail.com.

Linda Zak Linda moved to Tallahassee in June of '99. Previously a ne'r-do-well, she followed her mentors, Andy and Suzanne Farina (of UF Nav fame) to work with the collegiate staff at FSU. Farinas had led Linda, then a profane and bitter woman, to the Lord in the winter of '92. A single parent of a 9 year old son and 8 year old daughter at the time of her move, she foolishly underestimated the time and energy she would "have left over" for the ministry. Quickly realizing she didn't have the "umph" for the college campus ("when do these people sleep?"), She came to the conclusion that she could best support the FSU Nav staff with leftovers - that is, food and an occasional donation. She has been blessed by the overwhelming generosity, instruction and mercy offered her by the Wirgaus. She currently works with the college of medicine, attempting to shepherd the bitter and profane. Linda was among the first class of women to graduate from the University of Notre Dame in '78. After four hard years of study, she graduated full in the knowledge that defense is when you don't have the ball (the two D's go together). For you football buffs, she was at ND along with Joe Montana and Rudy. Not accepted to medical school, she subsequently was offered employment in a genetics lab, and finally begged her way into Loyola Med School, Chicago, in 1980. Dr. Zak is now gainfully employed at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital taking care of premature babies (and the occasional college freshman who suffers assorted blunt force trauma or snakebite). So, don't catch her post-call, after she's been up all night taking care of one pound babies, because she's crabbier than two people. She loves to cook, hates dusting, and drives to Clearwater to visit her now 15 and 14 year old children who live with their dad. You can occasionally contact Linda via email: zakx3@comcast.net.

"It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to
raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the survivors
of Israel; I will give you as a light to the nations,
that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth."
